Prescribing Excellence at the Virtual Infoway Partnership Series

By Catherine Searles-Burke

We are in a new era of virtual learning. The next session in our Virtual Infoway Partnership Series takes place on October 19, with the theme Prescribing Excellence.

Prescribing Excellence at the Virtual Infoway Partnership Series

With more than half of all patient visits to their care providers resulting in a prescription, faxed and handwritten prescriptions aren’t keeping pace with our digital world. Canadians are increasingly accessing health care virtually, and they need prescribing practices that support these new modes of care delivery. As Canada’s national e-prescribing service, PrescribeIT® is providing the needed infrastructure to link prescribers with pharmacies and helping to ensure that the right medication is delivered to the right patient, at the right time.

In this Partnership Series session, we’ll discuss Why e-Prescribing Excellence Matters from three different perspectives: the patient, the hospital and the physician. Each speaker will bring their unique insights and needs to the conversation, examining e-prescribing excellence through multiple lenses.

Registration for the Virtual Infoway Partnership Series is complementary, and we hope that you’re able to join us. Download the current program for a more in-depth look at the event and its speakers. You can also catch up on recordings of previous sessions. See you on October 19 — the program begins at 1:00 p.m. ET!
