The new solution, fully compliant with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standards, operates as a centralized hub for standard terminologies in Canada, eliminating duplicative efforts within the healthcare ecosystem and streamlining access to critical information. With secure cloud hosting, comprehensive implementation services, training, and a dedicated support desk, the solution is poised to empower users with unparalleled efficiency and effectiveness.
The solution is powered by Ontoserver from CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency. CSIRO’s Ontoserver product is a world-leading clinical terminology server implementing FHIR terminology services and supporting syndication–based content.
In the coming months, Infoway and Dedalus will work through a strategic and comprehensive rollout plan and onboarding process to support the launch of the new Terminology Solution, without impacting the exceptional services our stakeholders rely on.
