Canada Health Infoway Announces 2025 Connected Care Innovation Grant

The 2025 Connected Care Innovation Grant is an initiative from the Infoway Centre for Clinical Innovation in Digital Health (CIDH), which supports national efforts to accelerate the adoption of healthcare interoperability. Through the CIDH, Infoway continues to drive initiatives that encourage engagement with clinical leaders and learners, supporting the adoption of Connected Care solutions.

“It’s exciting to see the CIDH bring back the Connected Care Innovation Grant with renewed focus and energy,” said Krista Balenko, Vice President of Enablement and Operations at Canada Health Infoway. “Continued investment in clinician-led innovation, especially the kinds of solutions that leverage emerging technologies like AI, is essential to building a more connected, efficient healthcare system. This initiative reflects Infoway’s long-term commitment to supporting the evolving needs of frontline healthcare workers.”

Eligible clinical leaders interested in applying to the Connected Care Innovation Grant can visit here to learn more. Applications will be accepted now until July 18 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Later this Summer, the CIDH will also launch the 2025 Connected Care Clinical Student Scholarship, designed for clinical learners who are eager to deepen their understanding of digital health and interoperability, and explore how these areas contribute to more connected, patient-centered care in alignment with the Interoperability Roadmap.
