Join us to learn about the classifications, ICD-10-CA (International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems Tenth, Revision, Canada), and CCI (Canadian Classification of Health Interventions) used for ambulatory and acute care data collection in Canada. This beginner level education session is designed for anyone interested in becoming familiar with these classifications.
During this session, the participants will be introduced to:
- What a classification is
- The history and structure of ICD-10-CA and CCI
- How ICD-10-CA and CCI are used for statistical reporting in Canada
