Measuring Interoperable EHR adoption and maturity: a Canadian example

This BMC Medical Informatics and Decision Making journal article examines the adoption of interoperable electronic health records (EHRs) across Canada through March 2015. Nearly 250,000 clinician and administrative users, approximately half of Canada’s potential clinical population, indicate that they electronically accessed data in 2015. Based on current trending, further growth is expected as maturity of use increases.
