The Regional Cancer Care Program in Northwestern Ontario implemented a comprehensive Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to integrate 13 satellite clinics across the region and improve the quality of information and timely access to the information contained with the patients' records. This report found an overall positive staff satisfaction with the EMR and patient access to symptom management referrals, thus increasing compliance to quality practice standards. The report also highlights change management challenges and requirements to support benefits realization objectives. This report is available in English only.
