It’s better to adapt systems to people than to expect people to adapt to systems. One of the best ways to do this in digital health is to co-design applications and systems with the people who will use them, often patients, families, and caregivers. But how do you do that, especially when you have deadlines, constraints, competing priorities, and limits on your capacity? How does co-design relate to other approaches (e.g., user-centred design, human-centred design, design thinking, agile)? This presentation will discuss these questions and offer practical methods for co-designing digital health tools with the people who will use them.
