Infoway has launched “A Healthy Dialogue”, a large-scale public consultation with Canadians from every walk of life and in every province and territory. The objective is to solicit Canadians’ expectations of their health system and their attitudes about the role of technology to improve it. The results of the consultation will inform a related Infoway initiative that will explore how emerging technology trends such as artificial intelligence and precision medicine could potentially transform the health system within 5–10 years, and help move Canada closer to a more patient-centric, higher-performing 21st century health system.
