Patients Included

We have partnered with three patient advisors who will be working with us from the earliest stages of planning the Partnership Conference to shape the program themes, select speakers, advise on the patient scholarship program, and ensure the best possible experience for patient/caregiver attendees. The patient advisors will be involved in the in-person development and hosting of patient networking spaces. They will also be present during the entirety of the conference, and they will participate in feedback sessions post-conference to ensure strengths and opportunities have been captured and will be reflected in future events.

Patient voices and perspectives will be reflected in conference sessions, and patient speakers, conference patient advisors, and scholarship recipients are invited to stay for the duration of the conference and attend any session(s) they choose.

Patients invited to speak, the conference’s patient advisors, and the recipients of patient scholarships will have registration, travel and accommodation expenses paid in full, in advance. We will also help coordinate such expenses as needed.

All patients, caregivers and family members are eligible to apply for a patient scholarship. Scholarship information will be announced in August 2024.

The 2024 Partnership Conference will be held at the Westin Ottawa, which states that it meets all local and provincial accessibility requirements.

All conference sessions are open to all participants.

The 2024 Partnership Conference will be live streamed with a virtual conversation component for the opening keynotes on Nov. 18 & 19, 2024.

Select videos from the Partnership Conference plenary presentations will be uploaded to Canada Health Infoway’s YouTube channel following the event.

Those unable to attend the events, can join the conversation and discuss presentations, key learnings, etc.

The conference will request presentation slides from all speakers, and host all that are made available on our website for free viewing and downloading.
