Dr. Ewan Affleck, CM., BSc., MDCM., CCFP.

Senior Medical Advisor - Health Informatics, College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta

A graduate of the McGill School of Medicine, and Dalhousie University where he studied history, Ewan Affleck has worked and lived in northern Canada since 1992. He is currently serving as the Senior Medical Advisor - Health Informatics, College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta, and is a member of the Federal Expert Working Group on Virtual Care, and Chair of the Alberta Virtual Care Working Group.

Dr. Indra Joshi

Director, AI for NHSX

Dr. Indra Joshi is the Director of AI for NHSX, leading on the creation of the NHS AI Lab. Her other responsibilities include overseeing digital health initiatives within the NHS with a focus on data, digital health standards and evidence.

Evgueni Loukipoudis

CTO, Digital Technology Supercluster

Evgueni Loukipoudis is the CTO of Canada’s Digital Technology Supercluster. Before joining the Supercluster, he was the CTO of McKesson Medical Imaging and then Change Healthcare and prior to this, as a senior leader in Agfa Healthcare he co-led the digital transformation of that corporation.

Sandra L. Cascadden, P.Eng, PMP

Associate Deputy Minister Digital Health, Analytics & Privacy, Department of Health and Wellness, Nova Scotia, Canada

Sandra Cascadden is an Associate Deputy Minister at the Department of Health and Wellness. Sandra is a senior professional with over 25 years’ experience in the IT/IM industry. She is a graduate of Dalhousie University with her Bachelor of Mathematics/Statistics and Computing Science and the Technical University of Nova Scotia (now part of Dalhousie) with her Bachelor of Industrial Engineering. Sandra also holds a Graduation Certificate from Royal Roads University in Workplace Innovation.

Shelagh Maloney

Executive Vice President, Engagement and Marketing Canada Health Infoway

Shelagh Maloney is responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships at Infoway, including those with patients, clinicians and the federal government, as well as the standards community. She is also responsible for performance analytics, and coordinating and executing communication and marketing efforts in support of Infoway products and services.

Coordinator, University of Ottawa’s Indigenous Resource Centre

Victoria is a proud Anishinabekwe from Kitigan Zibi & Hunter's Point, and currently lives in the unceded Ottawa-Gatineau region. As Coordinator of Mashkawaziwogamig: Indigenous Resource Centre at uOttawa, she supports Indigenous students throughout their educational journey.
