The people of B.C. will have continued access to virtual health care throughout the COVID-19 pandemic with support from Canada Health Infoway (Infoway), which is providing $3.3 million to the province, to be split between Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) and the B.C. Ministry of Health.

June 3, 2020 – Patients in Nova Scotia who are tested for COVID-19 can now opt to receive their results via email. The provincial government, with support from Canada Health Infoway, will now give patients who visit primary assessment centres for COVID-19 tests the option to provide their emails in order to receive negative results.

Manitobans now have access to their negative COVID-19 test results via a secure online portal. The partnership between Shared Health and Canada Health Infoway (Infoway) will improve access to information and reduce wait times for negative COVID-19 test results.

May 7, 2020 – In order to treat patients safely at home during the public health emergency, the Saskatchewan government, with support from Canada Health Infoway (Infoway) is offering virtual visits and will be introducing home health monitoring during the crisis.

New Brunswick patients can now gain faster access to COVID-19 test results, thanks to a new patient portal. The provincial government, with support from Canada Health Infoway, has set up a secure web portal where New Brunswickers can sign on to get their test results. The portal is available through the MyHealthNB website.
