Patients Included

We have partnered with two patient advisors, who have worked with us from the earliest stages of planning the Partnership Conference to shape the program themes, select speakers, advise on the patient scholarship program and ensure the best possible experience for patient/caregiver attendees. One patient advisor resides locally, and the other outside of the province in which the conference will be hosted. Both will be involved in the in-person development and hosting of patient networking spaces. They will be present during the entirety of the conference, and they will partake in feedback sessions post-conference to ensure strengths and opportunities have been captured for reflection in future events.

Patient voices and perspectives will be reflected in conference sessions; patient speakers, conference patient advisors and scholarship recipients are invited to stay for the duration of the conference and attend any session(s) they choose.

Registration, travel and accommodation expenses will be paid in full, in advance, for patients invited to speak, the conference’s patient advisors and the recipients of patient scholarships will have. We will also help coordinate such expenses as needed.

All patients, caregivers and family members are eligible to apply for a patient scholarship. Scholarship information will be announced in August 2023.

The 2023 Infoway Partnership Conference will be held at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, which states that it meets all local and provincial accessibility requirements.

All conference sessions are open to all participants.

The 2023 Partnership Conference will be live streamed with a virtual conversation component for the opening keynotes on Nov. 14 & 15, 2023.

Select videos from the Partnership Conference plenary presentations will be uploaded to Canada Health Infoway’s YouTube channel following the event, with information provided through Infoway’s website and conference details.

The Twitter hashtag #ThinkDigitalHealth will be actively promoted prior to and during the event, so that participants, as well as those unable to attend in-person, can join the conversation and discuss presentations, key learnings and more.

Presentation slides will be requested from all speakers; those made available will be hosted on our website for free viewing and downloading.
